IDBF rules are used for the PACCC. A few exceptions have been made for the event by the PADBF executive committee. . These exceptions have either come via request by clubs, or by the executive committee themselves in order to meet the goal of PACCC, which is to foster development of the sport in the Pan American Region.
1) Senior D Helm
An exception is granted for helms in the Senior D age class to allow any senior aged helm (40 or older on Dec 31, 2025) to steer a Senior D crew. The helm must still respect the gender requirements of the crew.
2) The 6-month club eligibility rule for IDBF CCWC events is reduced to 2 months. This will greatly assist clubs from distant and developing member federations in attending the event.
